Can I order
with a credit card by phone?
Yes, call us toll-free at
1-866-WAX-LIPS (1-866-929-5477). We are available Monday through Friday,
9:00 am to 4:00 pm eastern time.
Can I pay with
a check or money order?
Yes... use the shopping cart to
make your selections. During Checkout, select "Mail Order" as your payment method. Follow the
instructions to complete your order and print the
order form that can be mailed with your payment.
Orders paid with a money order
will ship the next business day after it is received.
Orders paid with a check will be
held until the check clears our bank which is about 2 weeks.
Can I pay with a
credit card by FAX or mail?
Yes... use the shopping cart to
make your selections. During Checkout, select "Fax Order." Follow the
instructions to complete your order and print the order form that can be
Faxed or mailed with your credit card information. We will ship your
order one business day after it is received.
Is all of your
candy in-stock?
We try our best to keep
everything in-stock but occasionally we run out... you will receive an
email notification and offered a chance to cancel the order. Please
provide us with a valid email address.
We reserve the right to limit
quantities sold.
We will
make substitutions in a Pack-a-Bag order unless you tell us otherwise in
the "Special Instructions and Comments" box of the shopping
cart.
Do
I have to pay any sales tax?
No, there are no sales taxes. We are located in
Ohio where food is not taxed. When shipping out-of-state, the collection
of sales taxes is not required.
How do I get
a coupon code?
Coupon codes are sent out in the
monthly email newsletter. If you would like to sign up, click

I lost my password. How can I find out what it is?
You can recover your password by clicking on the "My Account" link at the top left side of any page
including this one.
Do you accept
credit cards from outside the US?
We only accept credit cards with
US and Canadian billing addresses.

Is the candy really
old?
All of our candy is fresh from
the manufacturer. These candies have been in production for many years.
We Baby Boomers have grown up, raised families, started and
nurtured careers and are busy people. In the process we have forgotten
about this part of our childhood. As we tell our granddaughter,
"Candy makes my mouth happy!"

Do you make the
candy?
We do not make any of the candy.
We buy it from over 40 different manufacturers.
Where can I buy
your candy in my city?
The Old Time Candy Company is not
the manufacturer of any of the products we sell. We are retailers who
buy candy from over 40 different manufacturers and resell it on the web.
We don't know where else it might be sold.
In most cases the candy we sell
is only available in certain regions of the country. The decision to
sell regionally is made by the manufacturer.
If you can't find your old time
favorites in your area, they are available from our website. UPS ground
shipping charges (continental US only) are a flat $8.45 per shipment...
free if the order is at least $200.00.
Do you have a
retail store?
We do not have a retail store. We sell only through our web site.
What is your
return policy? You have two choices:

Return the candy
unopened within 2
weeks of purchase for a full refund minus shipping charges.
There are no exceptions to the 2 week policy.

Return the candy
unopened within 2
weeks of purchase in exchange for candy of equal or greater value
with new shipping charges. There are no exceptions to
the 2 week policy.

There is a
10% restocking charge.

Send the candy at your
expense to the Old Time Candy Company, 350 Commerce Drive East,
LaGrange, OH 44050. Include a copy of your packing slip with
reference number to insure proper credit.

We cannot
accept opened or damaged candy.

Once the returned product is
received we will issue a refund minus original
shipping charges (our actual charges if the order was over $200) and
10% restocking charge.
Can you
provide nutritional information?
We suggest that you contact the
manufacturer directly. Many have websites or 800 numbers where the
information is available.
What is the
shelf-life of the candy? (Times are expressed in months from the date of
manufacture, not from the date of purchase.)
How should I
store my candy?
We recommend that you store candy
at room temperatures (~70 degrees) and not in a freezer or refrigerator.
Freezing chocolate will cause a white film to appear.

What
happens if the delivery is late or lost?
We hope you understand
that we cannot be responsible for late or lost deliveries by UPS.
It
doesn't happen often, but it does happen.
We will cooperate with you in
every way to track your package and file a claim if necessary. If we
make a mistake with the address, we reserve the right to issue a refund
or reship.
If an incorrect
address was provided by the person placing the order, a duplicate order
must be placed with additional charges. We will issue a refund if the
candy is recovered in resalable condition.

What
happens if there is a mistake in my order?
If we make a mistake
in your shipment, we reserve the right to either issue a refund or
replace your candy.

What happens if my candy melts in hot weather?
If you purchased Ice-Brix with your
order, the candy is fully guaranteed with the exception of Ice Cube
chocolate candy. We will issue a refund for the
melted candy and Ice-Brix. We can reship the candy if you will provide us
with a business address where someone will be present to accept delivery.
