Bubble Tape memories...
I remember as a kid when we would get cereal and
there would be a little coupon in the inside of the cereal box to
get a free container of bubble tape. Back then they looked much
different, they were a brighter pink, and they were like a can of
snuff in the sense that they had a lid.
When we went
to the grocery store my mom would always let us redeem those coupons
for the Bubble Tape. I was going through my room the other day and
found one of those little containers and the memories just came
flooding in as I opened it to see if it still had the same smell. It
smelled just like it had the day I bought it. ~ Kourtney from Texas
Bubble Tape gum was the
coolest gum. It was so cool that you could buy gum in a container
and dispense it like tape. When we were kids we would get Bubble
Tape gum and we would chew the whole thing in one day. Although it
was easy to chew it all yourself because it was so much fun all the
neighborhood kids would want some. I would always get a long piece
for my self I would always try and dispense the smallest amount I
could for my brother because I wanted it all. There is no gum as
cool as Bubble Tape and now my kids absolutely love it too. ~

I remember when bubble tape
came out. I used to walk to the corner store to buy some candy, and
I had seen Bubble tape. I used to love gum so much I had to try it.
It taste like no other gum with it unique flavor to me. I remember
putting all of the gum in my mouth all day. I remember the gum got
in my hair when I was sleeping because I thought that I could keep
that big old piece of gum in my mouth. Of course, my Mom had to cut
some of my hair off. ~ Tanisha from Missouri
