Snickers Almond bar / Mars Bars memories... I have been eating
Mars Bars for probably 45 years. My father raised us in Loveland,
Ohio. Every Friday when he would get off work at a plant
called Celotex that made shingles , he would bring me and my sister
a Mars Bar from a store that he stopped at on paydays. Me and
my sister have been hooked on them every since.
The wrapper on the candy bar was purple or blue and it was
covered in stars and it read Mars Bar. My sister and I always knew
when dad came home with a big smile on his face and a brown paper
bag, that he had Mars Bars.
We haven't had any for a while because until I checked your great
site, I didn't know they were being called Snickers with Almonds. I
will pass it on to my sister who is 5 years younger. When she hears
that we can get them, she will be one happy camper. ~Greg from
