Bubblicious Bubble Gum memories...

When I was between 9 and 12 years old, my best friend would spend several weeks in the summer at her
Grandparents in another state. Oh, I missed her so much. We lived in a very small town with a railroad track that we always played on. My friend
and I LOVED Bubblicious bubble gum, so when she was gone, I would sit on the track alone and see how many pieces of Bubblicious I could chew at
once. Sometimes, I would cry with three or four huge pieces of it in my mouth. The track and Bubblicious made me feel closer to her.
Thinking back, I laugh when I think what I must have looked like: a sweaty, teary-eyed, lonely little girl with
chipmunk cheeks full of Bubblicious sitting on a railroad track in North Carolina. If this story is chosen, I will use the gift certificate to buy her
and me some Bubblicious so we can chew and reminisce. ~ Pepper from North Carolina
When I was about 8 or 9 years old I would
wait on my God-Father to come and take me to the store and every weekend I would
get me a pack of Bubblicious bubble gum from the 711 corner store. I would chew
my gum and sing on the front porch and I would chew until my gum was so good I
would forget and swallow it. Then I would open another piece and chew and chew
until the flavor was so good I would forget once again and sallow it.
Now that I'm a grown woman I still love
the gum and the happiness it brought to I painted my truck purple and I had
Bubblicious put on the side of my truck and I plan on doing more to it with
Bubblicious still remaining to be on the side of it. I want to say thank you so
much for this joy you have brought to every little girl that likes to blow
bubble's all the time and chew on the sweetness of the gum. ~ LaShanda from
Alabama
