Pearson Nips memories... Some of my most vivid
childhood memories involve going to visit my mother's parents in a
small town high in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My grandmother had a
row of old-fashioned flour tins on a counter, and in one of them she
kept Coffee Nips.
How I used to love sneaking into the kitchen to
"steal" a few of them! Then I would casually stroll outside and suck
on the delicious Coffee Nips while breathing the cool mountain air
and listening to the whistle of a far-off coal train. My
grandparents have passed on now but I cherish the memories of my
childhood visits to their home. ~ Mary from Virginia
As a child, I remember going on long hikes with
my mother. In her efforts to keep us going, mom told my brother and
I that there was a candy store at the top of the mountain. Once we
reached the top, she reached in her backpack and pulled out a
handful of Coffee Nips. Not particularly "kid candy", but we grew to
love the rich, creamy, coffee flavored candies. Coffee Nips still
keep me going years and years later! ~ Lisa from Utah
