Pixy Stix memories... When I was a kid, my brother and I were fighting over some pixy stix. I was
only about 10 years old, but I got so mad, and I wanted the pixy stix so bad, I chased him around the house. When I followed him through a
door, right before I went through, a snake fell down right in front of me! So of course, he got away. I recently told my daughter about
this, and when she found out, she laughed so hard her face was turning red! Of course, telling her this story, mine was a little red too! ~

Surprisingly, I discovered pixy stix about a year ago, at, of all things, a Harry
Potter fanfiction community. I was writing humorous spoofs and parodies, and finally joined Project Ferret which was a collaborative ff
site. Chatting, one night, we discussed various methods of inspiration. Somebody said: pixy stix. Soon, everybody was raving about how great
pixy stix were to snarf while writing, for an energy and inspiration boost. Timidly, I admitted that I had no idea what a pixy stix was. I
was bombarded with explanations seconds later. I had to try them, and, yes, I snarf them while writing, being careful not to spill any on my
keyboard. I owe the completion of half my stories (fan fic or otherwise) to pixy stix snarfdom.
Another memory I have, now, is when my brother decided he could snitch my pixy stix without me
noticing. I noticed, but said nothing, using the opportunity to sneak into his room and snitch his Twix. ~ Cecilia from Massachusetts
When I was a young girl our family’s summer vacation was a week in Baja California staying at our friend’s beach house. My
sister and I could not wait to go the local grocery store “Oscar” to get our favorite vacation treat, Pixy Stix. They were cheap so we were
able to get lots and I always had to get a selection of colors. It was hugely disappointing if they didn’t have any Pixy Stix and we always
begged to go back to Oscar’s for the rest of the trip. Any time I see Pixy Stix, I think of our fun summer vacations in Mexico. ~ Christine

My mom wasn't very fond of pixy stix, mostly because they are pure sugar, but also because we never managed to eat them
without spilling the sugar. In the summers we used to pitch a tent in the backyard and go camping at home, just my siblings and I.
One time I walked to the store and bought pixy stix and snuck them out to the tent. We ate some and went into the house, where my mother
immediately made us hand over the pixy stix. We couldn't figure out how she could have known. Perhaps because our tongues were red!! Turns
out, the cashier at the little grocery store called my mother to tell her that we had bought candy - small towns!, UGH! ~ Jim from Texas
